Since 1996 the members of the research group LRI are main organizers of a traditional annual meeting in mathematics and mathematical physics - the International Summer School on Global Analysis and its Applications. Some of the conferences were coorganized with the University of Prešov (Slovakia), Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland), Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary), Silesian University in Opava, Masaryk University in Brno, Palacky University in Olomouc, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, and the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists (Czech Republic).

The main lectures were held by the leading experts in the field, namely: Ian M. The members of the LRI also contributed to the organization of the international conference Differential Geometry and its Applications held every three years in the Czech Republic and to the founding of the journal holding the same name, Differential Geometry and its Applications (founding Editor Demeter Krupka).
