The research group at LRI, headed by Professor Demeter Krupka, is a group of internationally recognized specialists and young experienced scholars from different European and non-European countries. Its programme is basic research in mathematical sciences on the frontiers of differential geometry, mathematical analysis, optimization and control, the calculus of variations, and in applications of mathematical concepts and methods in physics and other sciences.
